ADIS16ACL1/PCBZ Breakout Board Wiki-Guide

OVERVIEW

The ADIS16210 and ADIS16228 products all use a 15-pin flexible interface. The mating connector for their interface supports surface-mount solder attachment but does not support direct attachment with ribbon cables. For those who are would like to connect the ADIS16210 and ADIS16228 to an existing processor board, using a ribbon cable, the ADIS16ACL1/PCBZ provides a simple connector translation for this purpose.

EVAL-ADIS2 Connection

The EVAL-ADIS2 provides PC-based evaluation support for the ADIS16210 and ADIS16228. J1 on the EVAL-ADIS2Z and the ADIS16ACL1/PCBZ use the same pin assignments, so connecting them requires a 16-pin ribbon cable.
