Evaluation Boards & Platforms

System Demonstration Platform
The System Demonstration Platform (SDP) is used as part of the evaluation system for many Analog Devices components. The SDP board is designed to be used in conjunction with various ADI component evaluation boards as part of a customer evaluation environment.

User Guides
Evaluation board user guides provide a quick reference to Analog Devices evaluation boards including instructions on how to install the board software and setup the hardware.

Data Pattern Generator
The Data Pattern Generator is a bench-top instrument for driving vectors into Analog Devices' high-speed Digital-to-Analog converters. The DPG connects to a PC over USB, and allows a user to download a vector from their PC into the DPG’s internal memory. Once downloaded, the vector can be played out to an attached Evaluation Board for a specific DAC at full speed. This allows for rapid evaluation of the DAC with both generic and customer-generated test data.

ezLINX™ iCoupler® Isolated Interface Development environment
The ezLINX iCoupler Isolated Interface Development environment provides developers with a cost-effective, plug and play solution for evaluating eight physical Layer, digitally-isolated communication standards(USB, RS-422, RS-485, RS-232, CAN, SPI, I2C and LVDS). The Blackfin ADSP-BF548 processor is used to run the uCLinux operating system and allows for easy customization through the open source hardware and software platform. Development time is significantly reduced for embedded designers and system architects who are designing and evaluating isolated communication standards. The Interfaces on ezLINX use ADI's isolated transceivers with integrated iCoupler and isoPower® digital isolator technology.

96Boards Enabled by ADI Technology
96Boards is a range of embedded Linux-based hardware systems to promote the latest ARM-based processor technology. The specifications are open and define a standard for SoC-agnostic (processor independent) development platforms. Boards produced to the 96Boards specifications are suitable to a wide range of applications including desktop and laptop computing, the digital home, digital signage, point of sale (POS), high-end audio, robotics and drones, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, IoT and industrial control. Analog Devices is a member of the 96Boards Steering Committee and works directly with independent design houses and distributors to develop systems to demonstrate the vast array of their technology thereby easing the customer development journey.
