Prototyping Platform

This article will provide an overview of the Analog Devices Prototyping Platform, which itself is a collection of tools, integrations, examples, and hardware to accelerate design flows. The platform itself is architected to leverage and connect common and standardized tools, including filling in gaps where necessary, to help shorten development cycles. Different solutions may be available for different application spaces since this platform tries to tailor or curate options based around what users want and not what is convenient.

Common Architectures

Before digging down into different areas, a number of system-level architectures will be discussed to better understand conceptually how components can be connected and used together.

The most common systems are likely the FPGA focused systems, with connected data converters or sensors attached to a PC or workstation.
