====== Software Packs & Board Support Package ======

A modular software framework is provided for quick application prototyping. Based on the application use case, developers need to download the respective software packs.
<note important>Please make sure you install CrossCore Embedded Studio 2.6.0 ® before installing any of the below packs</note>

The Cog software development kit consists of these packs
   - [[resources:eval:user-guides:ev-cog-ad3029lz:software:aducm302x|DFP- Device Family Pack for ADuCM3029]] - This is a bare minimum pack required to enable working with ADuCM3029 and develop simple applications using the on-chip drivers.
   - [[resources:eval:user-guides:ev-cog-ad3029lz:software:ev-cog-ad3029lz|BSP - Board Support Package for EV-COG-AD3029LZ]] - This pack along with the DFP is required to develop applications using the on-board drivers.
   - [[resources:eval:user-guides:ev-cog-ad3029lz:software:sensor|SASP - Sensor Application Software Packs]] - This pack is required only to develop applications using the GEARs. Following Sensor Application are included in the pack.
         * Accelerometer Demo
         * Temperature Sensor Demo
         * Visible Light Sensor Demo
   - [[resources:eval:user-guides:ev-cog-ad3029lz:software:connectivity| Connectivity Packs]] - This pack is required to enable BLE connectivity using EV-COG-BLEINTP1Z connectivity Cog.
