Make sure that the connector cable going from J1 on the [[adi>EVAL-ADIS16209|ADIS16209/PCBZ]] is properly aligned to the J1 connector on the [[adi>EVAL-ADIS|EVAL-ADIS]]. The 16 pin cable is included with the [[adi>EVAL-ADIS|EVAL-ADIS]] and proper mating has the last 4 cable connections open. The yellow wire from from J2-11 of the [[adi>EVAL-ADIS16209|ADIS16209/PCBZ]] to the DIO1 test point on the [[adi>EVAL-ADIS|EVAL-ADIS]] is only required for synchronous data. The **Advanced Options** menu button allows the user to have more control over clock triggering and data synchronization. The option **Use External Trigger** is for users wanting to input their own clock signal at the DIO4 pin. The **Data Ready Synchronization Enabled** default option setting is enabled or on. | The only **Advanced Options** control option that is relevant for the **ADIS16209** is the option for enabling or disabling the **Data Ready Synchronization Enabled** function. When this is checked, **Data Capture** leverages the data-ready signal to trigger data acquisition. When this option is unchecked, **Data Capture** will be asynchronous with **ADIS16209** data production. |
